This is a mechanical movement DLA 400 Hamilton General Purpose Wrist watch as issued to the American Military. The watch is in excellent 'like new' condition except for aging of the luminous dial markers and the luminous material on the hands. The dial has 24 hour numbering. The case measures 33mm diameter, 35mm including the crown, 40.5mm across the lugs and is 9mm thick. The watch has fixed bars, takes an 18mm strap and is fitted with a 7 jewel mechanical movement.
